Dharma Rakshana Samiti was started on 16th of April 1999 by Pujya Sri  Dayananda Sarawati Swamigal.

Dharma Rakshana Samiti is the unique organization for preserving Hinduism-the native spiritual culture of Bharat inherited by us through Rishi parampara since time immemorial.

Aim & Objectives :

The words Sanatana Dharma, Vaidika Dharma and Hinduism are synonym. They represent the Vedic vision percolated in our society as native culture, which makes all our pursuits sacred. For us religion, spirituality and philosophy are not separate from each other. Our culture recognizes and respects potential divinity in every human being and reveres Mother Nature. This makes us to stand apart from other religious traditions.

Hinduism was subjected to many onslaughts for more than 1000 years. Yet, our forefathers sacrificed their lives to preserve Hindu culture and passed it onto us. It is our duty to preserve and pass it to our posterity.

Considering the prevailing grim situation, Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati felt that Hinduism needs to be protected and preserved by a well thought out programme.

It involves

           • Unfolding and propagating the uniqueness of Hinduism to strengthen the attachment of every

Hindu with his religion and Culture.

           • Emphasizing the need for unity among Hindus by revealing the problems faced by Hindu

              tradition.

Dharma Rakshana Samiti has appointed 32 full time workers allover Tamil Nadu to fulfill its mission.
